By JADEX as general contractor, is the first hospital in the Urals region to introduce specialized bone marrow transplant technology to the treatment of pediatric oncohaematology Conditions. The hospital includes in its facilities general wards, a day-clinic capable of treating 70 patients on a daily basis, an inpatient department with beds for 62 children and an operating and Reanimation department. In addition, the hospital has six bone marrow transplant units; a clean room meeting Construction techniques and medical equipment are state of the art.

The scope of this project encompassed the (re-)construction of a total of 24 operating theatres in five different buildings, including an angio operating theatre with an intravascular navigation system, and of the central sterilization and mattress disinfection facilities. The project was fully planned and implemented during the period October 2008 to January 2009.In addition, the complete medical technology requirements of the reanimation, cardio surgery, anesthesia and radiology departments were delivered and installed. Disassembly and reconstruction works were carried out in parallel to the hospital's ongoing activities.

6968 m2, 40 bed expansion to the existing hospital raised the total bed capacity by one-third (from 80 beds to 120 beds). Two floors of the five-floor addition are dedicated to general medical/ surgical nursing. The ground floor includes a new cafeteria and expanded kitchen/ server, as well as several new meeting and conference rooms. The expansion includes approximately 1394 m² of basement in an area where the water table is at 6 feet below the surface.
